Companies and in house counsel search through the LawMap database to find the best attorney for the required job.
Does the LawMap service cost me anything?
No. Companies or inside counsel seeking outside attorneys pay nothing for the service.
How does LawMap find the attorneys in its database?
LawMap has developed online search criteria that create a database of the best qualified lawyers with relevant expertise. We have developed powerful and sophisticated search engines that comb through millions of online and database sources to determine which attorneys fit our criteria..
Does LawMap search for its attorneys on social networks?
No. LawMap does not utilize word-of-mouth or social networks to vet its attorneys. We feel that type of data is far too unreliable to properly assess the expertise and value of attorneys.
What databases does LawMap search to vet their attorneys?
LawMap's proprietary search algorithms search through many public databases like reported cases, mergers and acquisitions records, SEC filings, Bankruptcy filings, seminars, etc.
How does an attorney receive an invitation to provide services through the LawMap platform?
Only after LawMap has fully vetted an attorney do we invite that attorney to join our legal services platform. If an attorney has heard about LawMap and seeks to become a contributing attorney, that person must go through our entire vetting process before being allowed onto the LawMap platform.
